Richard was born in 1967, Hammersmith, North West London. After 10 years in furniture design and studying traditional upholstery methods, he worked in interior design making blinds, curtains and loose covers. After ill health, Richard took timeout. For music and travel.
At the same time Richard was gaining recognition as a recording artist, with hits in the USA, Canada and Europe. Over the next few years, Richard became disillusioned by the entertainment business; in 1998 he enrolled on an Art & Design diploma course. With the use of photography, light, texture and colour; this gave him the direction he was looking for.
